Food poisoning / Gastroenteritis
Skin infections (boils, styes, septic fingers)
Infection of ears, eyes, nose, throat, or chest
Jaundice
A recurring bowel disorder
Recurring skin, ear or throat infections
Heavy cold or influenza
Typhoid / Paratyphoid fever
Carrier of any type of Salmonella
Contact with Typhoid/Paratyphoid in last 30 days
Any other reason to avoid food contact
Family Covid-19 symptoms (last 14 days)

7.3.3.1 VISITORS REGULATIONS

Entry onto the site is deemed as acceptance of the company terms and conditions. All Health & Safety and Hygiene laws, rules and regulations must always be obeyed. Visitors must complete the provided questionnaire. If any answers show potential risk to Food Safety, access to the factory/food storage area may not be granted.

Upon entering the factory/food storage area visitors must follow the given rules:

a) Correct dress code which includes:

  • Clean food grade coats
  • Hairnet/mop cap to cover all hairs
  • Beard/moustaches snood
  • Appropriate footwear protection

b) Hand washing procedure to be followed closely

c) Company’s jewellery exclusion policy to be followed:

  • No Wrist Watches
  • No Rings (except plain wedding ring, wedding wristband, medical alert jewellery)
  • No Necklaces, Hoop & Dangling/Sleeper earrings, or Studs in exposed parts of the body
  • No False Fingernails, Varnish, Nail Art

d) No one can take in/consume any food/ingredients in factory (Preparation Areas) including:

Cereals containing gluten, Crustaceans, Eggs, Fish, Peanuts, Soybeans, Milk, Nuts, Celery, Lupin, Molluscs, Mustard, Sesame seeds, Sulphur dioxide (>10ppm).

e) When entering the working areas ALL VISITORS must follow the stated procedure:

  • Under no circumstances must visitors talk to operators without management permission.
  • Protective clothing must be removed before entering toilets/canteen.
  • No visitors to be left unattended at the factory at any time.
  • All visitors must be aware of moving equipment and stay at specified distances.
  • Visitors handling exposed products must only do so with permission of accompanying manager.
  • Excessive perfume/aftershave along with make-up to be removed prior to entry to site.
  • Eating is only permitted in authorized areas.
  • No smoking cigarettes or e-cigarettes is allowed at premises. Only in designated area.
  • Borrowing of company tools and equipment are not permitted.
  • Use of ladders is subject to the ladder regulations, which you must comply with.
  • In the event of fire alarm being raised visitors should leave the premises by nearest fire exit.
  • Floor may be wet or slippery. Please take care when walking near machinery & production process.

Visitors failing to comply with these set procedures may be asked to leave the site immediately.
